The New Pacific Magazine--Article on the University of Guam Marine Laboratory
To come up with the content for the article, I talked with the various
professors, scientists, researchers, graduate students working at the
laboratory and included my own experience and photography to support the
manuscript.
Population Dynamics of Varanus indicus(Daudin) in a Limestone Forest of Guam
This is a thesis proposal I wrote in partial application for a Master of Science Degree in Biology at the University of Guam. During initial fieldwork studies, I provided the photography of the various monitor lizard specimens discovered.
University of Guam Technical Report--Plant Biogeography of Guam
As a researcher on the project, I did the field studies, compiled and
analyzed the data, created the illustrations and tables, and wrote the
manuscript for inclusion in the technical report.
New Mexico Wildlife Magazine--Article on the Endangered White Sands
Pupfish
Did the library research and then interviewed the scientists, researchers,
and ranchers who had seen the fish. Used outside photographs in addition to
providing my own photo and drawing to support the article.
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory report--The Cascade Inertial Confinement Fusion Reactor Concept
As a contractor technical editor-writer (TEW), I provided the planning,
scheduling, budgeting, organization, editing, and project management for
producing the report. This document won an award of Merit from the Northern
California Society for Technical Communication Technical Publications
Competition.
Cisco IOS Dial Services Quick Configuration Guide, Release 12.1
As a staff technical writer for the Small Provider Line of Business (SPLOB),
I coordinated with a team consisting of another CCNA writer, an editor, a
Subject Matter Expert (SME-CCIE), and two managers to produce this Quick
Configuration Guide for the 12.1 Release. This document won an award of
Achievement from the Northern California Society for Technical Communication
Technical Publications Competition.
